You have no other choice than to leave friends, family, spouse and foes and move on to the USA to get your sets at a correct price.
Postage and package are close to 50% of the price of a set or -in the sci fi case- more than the set price itself ! (100$ each time and without VAT)

The different kickstarters are impossible missions with incredible postage & package prices.

We're lucky enough to get an euro distributor here even if there are some differences with the final prices but strange there is no one in Asia to cover this area. start a petition ... or move on !

Then I would email them and discuss. The cost for a 20 pound minimum package can be seen at the USPS rate calculation page. Even with a reasonable packing and handling fee, it is not $145.00 to Australia.

I would always email them with what you want, as they have helped me out with a few orders of KSII stuff I did. They are very helpful.

FYI the 145 is not bad if you want to order 6 or so boxes, which I think would fit.

But yes shipping is a nightmare.

Send them an email. That number does not sound right. What country are you in?

International postage.... WOW!!!!

Post by Mitch » Mon Apr 27, 2015 9:46 pm

Since I could not get a number of things in KickStarter3 I wondered how things would be priced post KickStarter to see if I could get things later on down the track. I had a look at the Stalagmite Add-On Pack which was $50 with $15 postage during KickStarter2. On the DF website it now sells for $60 which is only a $10 increase so I thought "sweet - this is a minor increase so I don't feel bad about not getting it during the KickStarter phase". :)

I then thought "what about postage?" so I added the pack to a cart and proceeded through the checkout and almost fell off my seat when I was presented with a $145 postage fee. This was the only postage option available for internationals. $145!!! And that's $US. Errr... sorry but there is no way that's reasonable in any mans language. :o

Dwarven Forge: I love some of your stuff but you are limiting your sales by making it impossible for anyone outside the US to get hold of your products outside of KickStarter.
