A hobby unto itself. :( Mine sits gathering cobwebs rather than churning out terrain due to its unfortunate tendency to lose it's way in mid-print. It needs a visit from an experienced 3D hobbyist.

Obtw, before the printer went south I printed some of those lovely Gnarly Trees.
What brand and how old was it? Mine just went kaput, but ran beautifully for 3 years. I’m getting a new one as technology has changed significantly. I think I’m getting a dual extruder this time around.
It was from Monoprice https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=13860 and I bought in fall 2017. I am sure someone could get it working again, I just need the know-how.

I can't wait till 3d printer become more user friendly. As of right now they are a hobby on there own to deal with.

I am really glad i don't have a 3d printer...

years ago i never bought unpainted minis - i couldn't paint, it was a nice firm obstacle to purchasing - after KS1 i learned to paint minis - i have painted maybe 30, but bought HUNDREDS!

If i had a 3D printer i would be buying all of these STL files ;)
That is what I do. I have a printer but lack the time to mess with it. I have bought so many files for stuff that I have not printed yet.

Nice find! Heck, for $10, I will probably give that a go.

Also, if you're in the market for 3d printed trees, I've been eying these for a while now. I'll be getting some more from them with my pledge for their last KS, but I will probably pick these up at some point.

I thought this one was interesting. Not as nice looking as Dreadhollow, but if you have a 3D printer and want lots of trees that don't have flocking, it's a $10 all-in pledge...
