The gate looks promising. :o
Did you cast the hand yourself?
Looking forward to see the end result. :)

The hands are Halloween decorations. I trim them and manipulate them with hot water.

Image

I have some supports for the cave. I am going to make some new supports for a Necromancer draw bridge.

Image

I am casting more components.

Image

I need to paint them before I glue them together.

Image

A gate with small hands. This version is wasteful of skulls I will do something different for the gate house.

Image

This looks more like an owl than a skull. I will use different cast for the teeth and make the eyes round.

I am going to use a brass rod for the hinge. The hydrocal may have to be replaced with resin.

I am not sure of the form the pillars will take.

I think, I am going to bend the small fingers on the out sided to form a rail. The bone fingers support each other when they inter lock

Wire hanger rod through the wrists into side pillars, back far enough that the back end will not hit when opening. Then make the thumbs be the locking brace somehow.
That should leave the fingers quite bouncy and fraught with danger.

Got a top down picture of side base units and a separate hand pic?

I am thinking about a necromancer bridge. I want to use it as a spell. I started think about converting it to a draw bridge too.
