Dwarven Forge mentioned on Penny arcade

I was wondering if the partial inch grid on the side of the walls made him think it wasn't gridded right for D&D...who knows.

Good move Stefan & Jeff sending some "bait" to hook Penny Arcade on Dwarven Forge!!!

Now he's anxiously awaiting re-stock on some sets just like the rest of us :)

Stefan,

I sent him a friendly e-mail, explaining that sometimes the grid can be a little lost in some of the more intricate designs such as RotA, but even Bonehead (60+ years old with bad eyesight) can eventually pick it up and charge toward the fight!
Hopefully that will clear up any misunderstanding for Gabe and he will find out just how much FUN DF can be.
But he STILL isn't getting any of mine; he will have to buy his own.

Thank you Ghenghis,

We got a lot of traffic to our site because of that mention! I also e-mailed them to say that YES we have a gridded floor! He must have only looked at the ROTA Set and not noticed the grid...Thank you for sending him a pic, it would be great if everyone would send him tons of e-mails pointing out his mistake and vouching for the high quality of DF!

Stefan.

This morning I discovered the Dwarven Forge. The pictures of the terrain are pretty amazing and I don't doubt that they are worth the high price. My only problem is that I don't uderstand how they are supposed to work with D&D. They are gorgeous but they don't have a grid built into them. Can anyone explain to me how you handle grid based movement using this kind of set up?

Don't worry i sent pictures and links to hopefull let him see the grid.
