First i will show you some "treasures" that were included in the box:

These two fantastic plaster doors... note the thickness - that's a quality door

Plus two electrical hanging lamps... interesting, someone must have had quite the setup back in the day!

Now for the really good stuff!

Two sizes of barrels complete with tankard and laddle

Two tables fully dressed

And from the other side

These are really nice and very detailed - super happy to add them to my collection (and the pile of stuff i need to paint!) - justifies many a late night of flipping through random eBay listings hoping to find a hidden treasure!

It was late and i was too tired to keep doing random image searches hoping to spot a match. I'm guessing someone here will recognize these.

Thrilled with my haul! - First i'll show you what i have identified, then i'll put the pieces i haven't identified in a second post.

The listing showed 2 boxes of minis:

Larry Elmore's Silver and Steel II - i got nothing from this set but the box

Larry Elmore's SIlver and Steel

I got 2 Fighters and the Wizard from the 2nd row

Druid and the Succubus from the bottom row - for half the set i think i got the best half!

Also included were:

TSR/Ral Partha SIlvara from Dragonlance and a Fiend Factory (Ral Partha Imports) Ghost with Lantern

Plus these two which i fell in love with immediately:

Took a great deal of hunting to track them down but they are Metal Magic Miniatures - Female WIzard with Staff & Dragon and Female Bard with Harp - i really like these minis especially the fact that the unruly familiar is chomping on the wizard's silly hat!

Once i was on Metal Magic it was easy to find this table as an orphan from their Taverne set

This is a huge score - i would have happily paid $10 for the wizard with dragon alone!

Nice score!! I think you are right about the terrain bits.
Post some pics when you get it. Those look like great minis.

Check out what i found randomly trolling eBay...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ral-Partha-D-D- ... 566dddda10

uhm geee... $21 for 9 Larry Elmore minis and some cool looking resin terrain pieces?

DONE!

I just clicked buy on this - i look forward to getting it and figuring out exactly what i bought, but it appears to be quite a score

i'll post pics so we can try to identify the terrain - Scotia Grendel maybe?
