I was so glad the day Ral Partha move further away from old lead minis. I was so tired of minis with blunted noses and other lost details.

If they are just giving a general warning that's OK but if they plan to have these cast in a softer metal with a higher lead content than Reaper, Otherworld, Stonehaven or Oathsworn do then I will stay away.

Of course this is just my opinion.

Vegomatic could you ask them what they are planning to cast in?
I PM'd the question the day you asked. They replied early this morning with:
"... I've posted a comment in response to comments about lead content. The miniatures will probably contain a small percentage of lead, but the miniatures themselves are largely tin. ..."

Back in the early 90s and before we called them lead minis due to the high lead content. It was the way almost all game miniatures were. Fearing lawsuits Ral Partha here in the USA changed to a metal formula that was called Lead Free Pewter (was it truly lead free, not likely but it was so low in lead that they could legally be called Lead Free) The up side for me is the newer minis from Ral Partha then and the minis made now days by most minis makers such as Reaper, Otherworld, Stonehaven or Oathsworn do not have all the problems of the olden days of lead minis.

Some people do not care, I personally do not want the industry to go back.

Glad Midlam Miniatures is using modern high quality miniature metal.

I made an order on the creators web site. Very nice villagers. Some of the OOP Mega miniatures are available there.

From the comments.

@Randy Allen; Everyone has that disclaimer.
Unless you have full control of the alloys used in the pewter from its mined, through smelting and refining, until the finished minis are pulled from the mold, there's no way you can be 100% certain that no lead ended up in there.

It's so short it'll probably not fund, but looked like a fun idea.

I also want this one to stretch more, but seems to have slowed down the last week.
