Moved from California to Washington this past year and have settled in West Seattle (foreground in pic below).

Have been enjoying the "Emerald City" and making new friends in the gaming community here. Recently formed a gaming group through Meetup and had folks over for our first game with DF. Love the reactions of people who see DF for the first time
Welcome to the party Feymous. :D

So does the picture denote that you are in West Seattle? Nice area.

EDIT - I'm an idiot, you pointed it out and I was just looking at the picture, then I've always been a visual thinker anyway.

My wife's boss lives over there and is about to split their lot and build a new place in the future. She's requested me to look over her plans and come up with suggestions. I was in the design business before I went down for the count.

One of my favorite houses I drew and engineered back 15 years ago took nearly 2 years to finish designing. It's a 27,000+ sq. ft. home built in Russia and has been added onto since then. The mosaic tile and wood inlay work was amazing. They were a bit reclusive, so these are the last pictures of the home being built, although I have found it on Google Earth. The last few pictures are from inside the indoor pool. Notice how small the people are.

Would love to meet sometime in the future.

There are many others and of course in the other states and in France there are many more and bigger ones.

@GODofwar :
The pic is the "Saarschleife" near the village of Orscholz. There is a viewpoint called the Cloef, where the pic was taken. The Burgenstrasse is great and happy you had a great time there. :)
Yeah dark beer is also great. :P
Ooh Montclair looks quite mysterious I will have to look up the history. Thanks for sharing. I might have to get some Spare Dunkel on my way home as it's Friday! Cheers

I'm from Quebec City, in Quebec, Canada!
Love that street! Have never been to Canada but if I do go Quebec is a place I want to see.

Naperville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. It's trying to maintain its small-town feel, despite having nearly 150,000 residents.

Yay! I'm the Canadioeuropean (wth?) number 13!!!

I'm from Mordrid, the dark city itself...! I mean... Madrid, Spain.

But I'm with Berny 100%, I consider myself just an earthling, don't give a sheep about the name of the countries or the colors of the flags. I'm with and behind just about any fellow living being who cares for other living beings and respects their freedom, wellfare, and way of thinking (if said way of thinking at least respects what I've already said).

Now let's see if I remember how to attach some worthwhile pics...

I am jealous of these Castle and Waterfall pictures. All we have around her is a five-sided puzzle palace:

Um... you can't post a picture of water falls without telling us where it is. It's a rule.
Oh, I thought it'd be obvious since I posted earlier in the thread where I'm from. It's not exactly in Thunder Bay, but it's about 25 mins. drive away in Kakabeka. It's called Kakabeka Falls, on the Kaministiquia River.
Thank you!

As an aside... I am compiling lists of places I would like to visit some day... probably won't get to most of them, but we do enjoy waterfalls and short hikes. This looks like a beautiful place. Added to our list! (as have many other places in this thread! Thank you all for sharing!)
