Ok. I will borrow some water pieces from my friend and set up the scale of the wheel to attach to a window wall piece sitting on the small floor spacer piece on a double high house wall (if that makes sense) and just be high enough to clear the water tile. I will look into motorizing it (because that would be cool) and not do any special internal pieces. Will be a week or so before I get the updated wheel done. (And will look into creating a windmill attachment).

In the mean time, I will add in the "downward steps into darkness" floor inserts for wood and stone floors after I print them up tonight. Also hope to have some window options for the tower and abbey windows printed.

We would take just a wheel or a motorised version, but what we would like to see is the wheel to be of a height at it lowest point to be just above the height of a cavern water piece - I hope that this is the intention but with it at the height in the picture it does not look practical.

And +36 to creating a windmill option :D

This is awesome and imaginative. I love it and if you were selling conversion packs I would definitely buy one. I know it's a pain and would cost more but love the thought of being able to motorise. This could also easily be used for a Windmill. All you would need to change is the Fans for the wheel.

that is a hobby motor and an AA battery waiting to happen ;)

to me this is cool and would be WAY cooler with a little motor - easy to print a housing and battery compartment to look like a mill works

This is what I ended up with on the mill. It is designed to work with a 1/4" dowel rod. Is it worth selling or should I just stick to the wheel?

Personally, I would stick with the wheel. The rest just seems like overkill for something probably not visible.
I would want the whole thing

(1) Stained glass

(2) Glass window with small panes, 2 windows that can open out (prerhaps loose, so Blu Tac can be used to move panes from insert to insert, for more variety). I have no problems using Blu Tac in order to get interchangeability.

Also been working on my translucent PLA along with some tiny earring LEDs. Here is my campfire and window fire. Keep in mind that I have not yet tried to paint any different colors on the flame or the logs in the campfire yet. Also, the LED light was more intense on the camera phone that in reality.
