I do not fear postage fees, either. I am only in for the minis and maybe a few boats. Shouldn't be too hard to ship. Even to Germany...

I like their stuff but not their prices. Plus their shipping being open ended worries me a lot. I really do not know how much it will cost in the end.
And their products are very heavy, so that will affect final tally.
Exactly. Shipping could codouble their prices. Pretty much any KS with big stuff that charges shipping wehn the product is made gets a pass from me. Just too risky. I want to know the damage up front.
I agree that I don't like this much, but they did give guidelines, and those are cheap.

E.g., for UK, as of now shipping is 78$ for the Large Town (the biggest pledge).

Surely I expect to pay more, but I do not expect to go from 78 to 500.

If shipping for that 2.400$ pledge (not that I am picking that one) even doubles, it would still be reasonable...

I don't mind dropping a few bills for my favorite hobby, just ask my wife. Beats spending it all on cocaine and hookers, I always say. But honestly, this just looks way over priced to me. Meh. No thanks.

We are in for this :)

Most of the buildings would be good for a city build regardless of a harbour, always looking for a few different flavour building to complement our CBS and Epix Haven.

Not sure we will go too deep as KSVI PM is gonna eat a lot of our spare cash.

The big news is some of their boats and docks can come unpainted. Not a bad deal if you can paint them yourself.

I wish the Alarm Bell Platform wasn't so expensive. Would love to have a central town bell like Leen's Bell in Chrono Trigger. :( Might have to make my own with DF; it seems easy enough.

Also, trees, stalls, and rope bridge are back. All work GREAT with DF if anyone is wondering. I love my bridge.
Always loved Chrono Trigger. Fantastic game, well designed and paced with a great soundtrack. There are so many decorative bits out there with bells that I'm sure we can find something scale suitable and decent looking if we try.

Actually I considered the Spanish Main add-ones more than the water shanty town. Still undecided.

Might, just might, consider the unpainted boat deal - but I’ve been acquiring small boats for the past couple three years. (Have close to two dozen assorted.)

As for the rest of it, prices seem very very high to me, considering most of the surfaces are just weathered planking or shingles.

This can easily be done from scratch using coffee stirrers, balsa/bass wood, and the like. (So low tech that even I can do it...)

Paint job shown is monochromatic and uninteresting, so that doesn’t help either.

Easy pass for me, sad to say.
