As usual for WizKids, the paint jobs are highly variable. Most of the second set looks pretty good. I love some of the unique companions; the tree and stone creature are lovely.

WARDLINGS

Post by unclebilly » Sun Apr 22, 2018 9:56 am

I am a big fan of pre painted miniatures. I just picked up all of the first set of Wardlings from Wizkids. I was not sure how the scale would be on them as they are supposed to represent kids. Well they are not small kids I would say more like 16-18 year old and for me that was even better. This will let me have miniatures to use as young adults. They come separated from the base so all you need to do is glue them to the black base if you want. The animal companion that comes with each miniature also will need to be glued to a base. I did not glue my animals to a base I wanted them to take up a smaller footprint. I will be getting the 2nd set that is coming out for sure now.

The far left is a Pathfinder miniature to the far right is a Reaper miniature.
