Worried about shedding bristles, which usually really irks me.

Ill just keep buying my cheap brushes at 100 yen stores or the local hobby store. I probably need to get better at painting before I buy and ruin some decent brushes.
A pretty decent Docent of Valoria

Hmm, yeah, I may be reconsidering my snap value judgement also. Looks like you can get sets for a lot cheaper. Also, this comment from the end of one of the threads doesn't bode well:
I bought them because I needed new brushes and I thought I'd give them a go and maybe support a fledgling company.

Terrible brushes that can't even be salvaged with brush soap and conditioner. The smaller brushes start curling after the first use and are useless for detail work. The larger size hold shape slightly better but not by much. For the price you would be better off buying art store brushes or even better a couple of decent quality Windsor and Newton that last for years.

Thanks for sharing! Reading through those threads, I may well reconsider...
Glad to share, I figured the Reaper Miniatures Forum fan boys and girls know more about brushes that I do or at least have stronger opinions.

At $2 a brush, I'll probably give them a shot. They won't replace my Series 7s, but they look like they'll be decent workhorse brushes or extras to hand out on paint days.
My thoughts exactly. At this price, I'm willing to give them a shot and if nothing else they will become terrain brushes.

Thanks for sharing hunter_something.

I've decided to back for a couple sets - with stretch goals that comes to ~30 brushes for $60! The dry brushes look pretty promising to me, and if the other brushes aren't my favorite, I'll just save those for in case we have any painting parties :)

I may also order a few Series 7 for detail work. I just organized my to-be-painted cart, so I'm feeling pretty motivated to start working through my back log!

I like real hair over nylon. But if they're made to be used as a drybrush, I guess it doesn't matter.
