I am going to add a wash to make the floors blend better with the Resin caverns.

This photo is a good example of problems with resin water. If the resin is deep, any thing placed on top will look it is floating. If I used something like Stillwater or Realistic water placing terrain on top of it will damage it in moderately hot weather. I am going to use a Smooth on resin product. More on that later.
Have you considered a thin acrylic sheet? maybe 1/8" or so. I've had some 3/8" laser cut for a side project, will check with my store and see how thin acrylic has to be before you can cut it "at home".

Downside to acrylic is it can scratch easily.

Looking good... Is the Smooth-On supposed to be a harder surface when dry?
Keep up the great work, can't wait to see the finished scene. Don't rush though. ;)
Thanks William
I when to the Engineer Guy and talked with the resin guy. I wanted something that would flow like Realistic water, set in 24 hours or faster and not turn yellow. I also wanted something less heat sensitive.I settled on Epoaxcast 690.
It will still need to be stored flat. If the temperature reaches 130 the casalist will reactivate and make it harder. The car will get that hot in the sun. Realistic water will get soft at 90.It will also flatten back out if level in a hot car. So a toaster oven will work to repair small tiles. My storage area is not climate controlled so I have to be careful.

You can not rush resin.

It must be absolutely dry before I add resin.

I decided to glue up the base with 2 1/2 inch banks

Image

I tapered from 1/2 inch to 1/4 inch so that match up with my custom tiles.

Image

I will be able to use any of my 2 inch square tiles

I used Hirst Arts and 4 bot cast blocks and white glue. I am going to let the PVA/ Elmer's dry over night be fore I base coat.

Whilst you perhaps have some passable crafting skills, you clearly don't have anywhere near enough clamps.

When I run short I break out the anvils
If in doubt bring out the heavy mob :)

And why does it not surprise us that you have multiple anvils

My great grand father was a blacksmith. I have some jewelry making and seamstress anvils too.
