I have never seen a complete collection of the dragon stone pedestals!!! Until now. Wow! Very cool. And placing them in the round room, while obvious when I think about it, man that would be so awesome in a game!!!
Because then you have to wonder, where are the dragons??!
This whole thread is fantastic. An amazing display of hobbyist crafting. Thanks for taking the time to post all of this, Oldent. (I still think of you as Old Man Willow.)

I would still use Old Man Willow here but something glitched.
Thanks for the compliments.

The dragons were painted with Testors. The wings need to be pinned. I am working towards displaying them again.

Whilst you perhaps have some passable crafting skills, you clearly don't have anywhere near enough clamps.

When I run short I break out the anvils

I want to use this one foot by one foot tile for LOTR too. I am having a little difficulty with the shape.

Image

1 1/2 inch around the edge looks like it will work.

A full two inches or even 2 1/2 might be better.

I am going to use the 4 bot molds for this large water tile project.

One of the reasons that I do not care for 2" by 2" water tiles is the difficulty with creating a smooth water edge. It is difficult enough with 4" tiles. I a planning a 1 foot by one foot tile. I will cut some more tiles in the morning

I spent some time at the Engineer Guy today. I settled on EppoxAcast 690 for the upcoming water project.I purchased a sample pack. I needed something that is less reactive to heat than Realistic water. The 690 can be used for auto clear auto parts,

Thanks for the Master Class in making cool scenery. Water effects are always a challenge to get looking "right". I recall way back from my model railroad days having a real struggle getting the water to look, you know, like water on the layout. Your photo's make it look "so easy". Nice work.
The trick is going from MRR to wargaming terrain. The game tiles have to be way tougher.
