I've wanted to go watch the speed trials for many years. Dad helped a guy out of the central valley, California build a chassis back in the 60's for Bonneville, but I don't know if he went there for the tests. Sounds like a fun time.
I like speed. F-1 practice late tonight... Hungarian Grand Prix is this weekend. :ugeek:

We have the Bonneville Salt Flats here in UT. Super flat and lots of speed records have been made on it. Same topography but much less development. All that's been built on it is a road to go fast on and a tree sculpture.

That’s a very weird place. And apparently Thulsa Doom has been there at least once. Not sure how I feel about that.

A new environment to explore.

My Mom just sent an email that is some pictures of a place in Bolivia. Maybe a new environment to think of for gaming... not really, just thought it was cool.

The Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat at 10,582 square kilometers (4,086 sq mi) and it's a major tourist destination in the South American country of Bolivia. The Salar is virtually devoid of any wildlife or vegetation, but it is home to an estimated 10 billion tons (9.8billion LT) of salt.

Check out some of the pictures.
