Great work. I especially love the classic dungeon layouts.
Question for each cartographer: when you say "2 sets" or "x sets," does that include stretch pieces?
Thank you.

love the maze... but i am a sucker for stuff like that ;)

I have a minotaur maze with moving walls (so heavy only the minotaur can move them) - quite fun... hmmm i wonder if i have enough DF pieces to make it?!?!?

City Streets

Post by arcanedesign » Wed May 22, 2013 3:01 am

City streets with shop space, sleeping space, and militia space. Plenty of places to run around and hide if need be.

This was built using five kickstarter sets.

If more street space is needed, one can always create the area needed by not filling in the houses with flat squares so that they can be utilized in building more streets.

Tower Base.

This can be built upon using the downward stairs utilized in the floor pack.
This was built utilizing two kickstarter sets.

Epic Map based off of kick starter goals map.

Demon Doors are 1 way portals. doors at the head lead to either: dead end room with no way out. Hilt of sword room which contains epic treasure. Or beginning of map with all traps reset. Door at tip of sword also leads to beginning of map. back to back windows signify secret door.

Key room, with windowed lighting and locked inner room. Windows on the inner room provide lighting but also a glimpse at what lies inside.

Basic cathedral.

The one on the left will take 5 sets plus a curved corner expansion.

The one on the right would only need five kickstarter sets to build due to the rounded corners.

Small Castle - with a secret (3 sets)

Post by Philomorph » Wed May 01, 2013 11:33 am

This is a small castle designed with 3 sets, using all the wall and floor pieces and most of the doors.

It includes an external guard house, main entrance, mud room, large hall (with pillars), throne room, kitchen and larder area, and a jail area locked behind an enchanted door. Within the jail are two small normal cells and a large, isolated cell sealed with yet another enchanted door. What, or who, is locked behind such high security? I leave that up to your imagination.

If you buy the castle walls add-on, you can easily turn the main entry into a murder room with arrow slit walls :)
