Ordered a few sets. Trying to figure out what pieces will be most useful. These posts are really useful / though provoking. Hope people share more!

Thank you!

Here is the first map I've tried with the mapmaker program. It's a map of the first floor of the ridiculously huge Slumbering Drake Inn from the Dungeon Crawl Classic Castle Whiterock. It looks a little silly without the tables, bar, or secret doors.

Here is the map that in included in the 1991 D&D basic game. It was a starting adventure that came in the box called Zanzer's Dungeon and was one of the first D&D games I played. I still have the original map, so I triad to re-create it using Dwarven Forge Tiles.

I am pledged for 10 sets. I came in 2 sets over budget on straight walls and 11 sets over budget on small doors. I think a lot of this would be corrected with either a narrow hall piece of some kind. As you can see I had to use a lot of straight wall tiles to close in my hall ways, and the floor pieces protruded into what is supposed to be empty space.

I figured this would be a fairly accurate exercise for a basic 1 level dungeon. I'm glad I got 10 sets, but I may need a few extras.

Any chance of getting narrow passages????
