Arcarius,

Thanks, I agree with your advice about what I should pick-up from the KS! :)

Thanks to JGardner buying my Den of Evil Room & Passage Set, so I was able to get 3 painted sets. I will most likely get the diagonal add-one as well. I don't need the walls or corners, but I do need all the floor pieces.

Are you getting the add on sets too? If so, and provided you have the kind of table space that Tom and Sorn has, that should do you for the basic sets. I assume you have some of the classic dungeon sets already. That will more than cover a table and combined with accessories and specialty pieces, give you a lot of setup possibilities.

Just make sure you get enough of the add on sets. At least a couple of each.

But of course there is no such thing as too much Dwarven Forge! So go wild if you feel the need. You certainly can't beat the price.

I'm most interested in them because I'll be able to let my son play with them without having to hover over him the whole time or have a heart attack if he drops one on the floor.

I've got a bunch of sets (Dungeonstone & Hirst Arts) already, but the thing that really makes this Kickstarter worth jumping in on is what the tiles are made of. A rubbery substance that is hard to damage is great - especially if you ever travel with them to a friend's house or gaming store.

That durability will be very nice - even more if you have clumsy friends. ;P

I know I hum'd and hah'd about it for about 20 mins, especially when considering the S&H cost to Canada. However, this is a great opportunity, so I tossed in my $300+ bucks for three sets. Looking forward to it!

My next though though is if I should pick up any of the Diagonal Wall Sets...hmmm...

The best reason to support the ks is because Stefan and Jeff and the df staff are some of the nicest guys in the industry.

I ended up pledging for 2 sets. It was the stretch goals and the prospect of getting a whole bunch of floor tiles that sucked me in.

Well, that and the fact that I accidentally paid off a credit card twice...
