Regarding waterfalls.... I want pieces I can have my players play on. Waterfalls look cool and all, but really to me they are something I wouldn't back unless there was a way I could use them other than just for looks. The way it stands now, they would just be blocks that have limited use in an environment. Sorry. :(

Fixed spelling in subject line, because I'm a jerk.

I've thought and thought, and I'm not sure if I would be into a "wilderness' type KS.
We've talked a lot about huge modular trees large enough and stable enough to put house and walkway structures on, but I can't wrap my head around a pleasing-looking esthetic. I won't support this idea as a direction for DR unless I see some real prototypes that blow me away.

Now, a "field and farm" type KS I could get behind, sort of like a KS3 expansion. Wooden walls for cottages, barns, and stables. Simple fencing for corrals. Wood or thatch roofs. Wells and small outbuildings. And miniatures. Tons and tons of regular folk miniatures, of all shapes, sizes, ages, and colours.

I would prefer a smaller set that give us a chance to buy multiples, rather than a small portion of a mega set.
I defiantly would not want it locked into a mega set, but done as an add-on and as part of another mountain mega-set would work for me.

Waterfalls - Modular ideas.

I totally love the waterfall ideas
I agree this one is a great concept and it is even better now that we have the mountain set IMO.

I would love to see it done as an add-on and as part of another mountain mega-set.

Other parts of the second mountain mega-set could be narrow mountain trails, bluffs, a large cavern opening and 4x6 and 6x6 Mountain ground tiles just as some ideas.

I don't know if it's feasible, but a line of LED minis like Will-o'-wisps, ghosts, someone casting fireball, etc. would be a cool addition. With the right dynamic base (ie: a little higher than the standard ones) they could look pretty cool.
Anything like that would have to be on a base that fits the battery and switch... think of the torch base as that's about as small as we can get.

I want to see Biowizard's will-o'-wisp idea, but probably having a sort of coloured ball engulfed in a more clear or slightly frosted clear flame... so it has a cool 3D look to it. It's an idea I'm currently working on myself with some of the sugar plum type lights I got at Christmas time last year.

I have flickering LEDs in blue, red, green, yellow, and white... I'm still trying to find pink and purple.
