To me they are perfect for Starship Troopers. Bugs, Mr. Rico, millions of 'em!
Yep! Need some of the plastic Star Wars kits? I have a pile I got in a trade....

I love the Burrows. At this point all I mostly care about is niche stuff. I don’t need more “bread & butter”. I have the one set from the DoD coming but home to pick up a couple more sets at some point. Just keep in mind that they can make cool forest/jungle paths as well. I also love the floor inserts.

All I want from KS6 is unique stuff. I don’t need 2x2 floors and straight walls.

I want a water set with larger pieces more like the resin set, cool modular elevated stone walkways, large winding passages (KS2 passages are too narrow), and some large volcanoes and lava flows like the resin sets. I want more 4x4 pieces in general. I hope there are some surprising unique sets in KS6.
I mostly want niche stuff too, but still can't care less for the Burrows, no interest at all for me.
I want 8x8 Dwarvenite Plains, Forest, Snowy Terrain and Desert.

I'm fine using Caverns for burrows. Players can use their imaginations. These were waaay too niche for the amount of storage space I have.
They remind me of the old resin cavern passage set. I will find space :D

Why do you feel KSV was a good bang for your buck? I am curious.
Answering for me, not pre-empting the original poster.

Because I could get a lot of fiddly bitz/bling without buying heavily into the main sets. I don't need a whole new dungeon environment. I got enough unpainted main sets to do a really fancy sub-area, reather like ai treat Catacombs or ROTA or Chamber of Sorrows. But I got LOTS of add-ons to enrich the existing (exorbitant) DwF dungeons and caverns I already have....

I agree. I did not need a lot but spent more at once than on all of the other KSers combined. Lots of cool stuff. I could not get enough burrows with all of the other options. I had to pass on burrows for now.

I think my lovely burrows will gain momentum in the web store:) They were my favorite, and when I get them I am going to show everybody WHY they are SO awesome!

I love the Burrows. Problem is getting enough to use their 3-dimensionality. Too damn expensive....but I envision three or four levels of Burrow, all in plain sight at once...

Said it before. Burrows fit with Dungeons (the insects in the walls_); With Caverns (ditto); OUtdoors (where the insects hide, and maybe a route DOWN into the caverns/dungeons); and in Cities, as a directly feed or maybe into sewers. Large sets, small sets for a few bugs....they are not limited, I think, but completment all the other sets.
