Sci-Fi is my wish, if they haven't gotten to it by then.

Water tiles...

And maybe a return to Den of Evil in Dwarvenite.

I do not have much interest in MBS as dwarvenite. I would rather have a new indoor environment or decor set done in KSIII aor KSI.

I would love to see these made in Dwarvenite. I would find them much more useful than the citybuilder sets we now have.

Race specific. Elvish, Hobbits, Dwarven. Architecture and terrain that would accompany such an environment.

Dreadhollow has already lead into the Elves, but only a small degree. High Elf spires and edifices would be wonderful to see.

Vaulted dungeon has already lead into the dwarves, again only to a degree. Much could be done there. Mining, smelting, tunneling, and of course the grand underhalls.

Halfling/Hobbit. This one could be a lot of fun. Modular sloping hills with round entry doors and windows. Pantries, iron stoves, hearths. Could have some fun LED action with this one.

Could go on, but on an iPad and kinda difficult to type. The above is what I always wanted DF to do, but it may be too niche, and Iā€™m unsure how successful it would be.

A desert environment could almost double for under sea. Same basic tiles, different decor and fiddly bits. Even some of that might overlap.

Well, the obvious answers would be a) any theme/setting they have not yet explored that they believe a market exists for (underwater, open ocean (with lots of just water tiles) or sandy desert terrain to complement the forest), and b) a time jump for a setting like urban/cities and make a more modern motif using the CBS/Castle mechanic. This could then appeal even more directly to wargamers looking to set up more modern battlefield simulations with modern structures.
