btw, we are making some more double post types...ones that are flush so they look better, both for tudor and stone...and maybe some other types as well...not 100% sure which ones yet...Nate has a grasp I think...

LegoRick, that's a terrific layout! Great seeing everything put to creative use. I especially like the nifty inn design. Thanks for taking the time to make this excellent video!

I still have to paint all my stuff before I can have this kind of fun. : ( But this is great inspiration to get it done sooner!

Thank you for the comments! This was actually just one Empire level plus a few add-ons.

Yes! The mat is from Frontline Gaming!

The double posts are awesome, but as mentioned if you want to have interior walls you do have to troublshoot appropriate placing. I originally had the double posts just going along the outside and single posts and the very short posts along the inside around the second floor courtyard opening. Doing that meant I couldn't have interior doors because the single posts wouldn't line up with the double posts so I did double posts along the interior as well, but only in a couple places were I wanted interior doors.

I certainly did not expect that! It's probably due to the super sized fit between metal pegs and floors. This will probably please the naysayers that say you cannot easily access the "inside" of buildings.
It's what I found in my builds as well. The issue I ran into on the tavern/inn I was building was probably something others have experienced - I ran out of double-posts. Also, when building inside walls for rooms you run into the issue of a double-post being slightly offset from the corner posts so walls won't align properly. This is why other post options are needed.

But yeah, it's bloody awesome that you can move whole levels of a building! :-)
If you aren't gaming then you aren't living.

OBTW, who makes the game mat?
That mat looks to be a Frontline Gaming F.A.T. Mat. They're spendy, but very nice.
