Fantastic job. The sewers are probably the set that I think could most benefit from this enhancement.

Nice DIY crafting skills realarete :)

While we do not intend adding any magnets to our dwarvenite we can relate to this having just finished magnetising a FW Chaos Knight - fiddly bugger with lots of spikey bits!

Awesome,

Putting magnets under the KS 3, 2 & 1 tiles is on my to do list as well.

But I still have some tiles to paint ;)

Would love to see more solutions...

Oldent - that's great advice on the drill bit. My plan was to drill a couple of the corners, the flat style bit will be much better suited for this. Thanks!

Blow gunner sighting! Very cool! Are you magnetizing everything or just the walls? The sluiceways could be difficult.
Agreed the sluiceways are going to be trickier, I'll post pictures when done! I think for most of those pieces I will have to use 2 magnets near the edge corners. The middles are thin.
I am looking forward to seeing the photos too.

There are smaller very strong magnets available. I would suggest installing them in the corners.

I have been investigating installing magnets in my stalagmites to make stalactites.

You might want to use a Forstner bit for a flat hole. You can usually buy one in the size you need ant Home Depot or a hardware store.

The flat bottom of the hole will make the glue hold better. It is easier to find a small Auger bit than a Forestner bit. A spade bit obviously is a poor choice. The smallest Forstner bit I have is I/4. The tiny magnets in the corners will have to be done with a Auger bit.

I've been pondering doing this. Or more accurately, I've been pondering trying to commission someone to do this for me :) I've definitely delayed too long for my main goal -- running events at DragonCon that could really benefit from a sewers set up, but without magnets I can't prebuild and just unstack a tower of terrain trays at the table. The full build might take too long. Plus I find the sewers are slighly finicky and people knock over walls easily. Having them magnetized would help with that.

With that said, if any US/Canada modders would be interested in taking on a bulk commission, please let me know and we can see if we can find a price that works.
