These are the only two I have done so far.

I wanted to be able to move the stalagmites closer to the wall. The side entrance was also a very cool idea. Thanks. I only have two sets so I will modify them as needed.

How are you using the half end passages?

William, those pieces are amazing...I love them, in particular the hot/boiling mud pond!

These are inspirational. I have purchased supplies but have not had time to start on any. More photos please.

Thank you, I did have a nice Thanksgiving. I need to remember the seasons greetings so I will not seem like such a grumpy old man.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year.

New Cavern Decor -

I didn't want to open a whole new thread for my custom stuff, but there are 2 newly painted cavern corners in the back of all this fluff ( you really can't even see them). I have been working on these stalagmites and bridges for the last 8 months (damn I'm slow ) and just got a few layers of Porkorny Paint (which I was waiting for) on them; base coat and first dry brushes (of many coats and details to come and a wash or two too, I'm sure). The sculpts are all mine from Sculpey Original with some Sculpey Firm mixed in where I required more firrmness (ha,ha).

Blah, blah, anyway here are ten shots of some cavern decor.

It has more to do with my vision. I did not see it to know to clean it up until it was on the screen.

Looks great OMW. I didn't get any of the Stalagmites, so I didn't know there was a problem until someone else mentioned it. Maybe you can shave the flash off and then re-drybrush?
Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. :-)

I used your idea for the narrow passage and experimented with back lighting the ice tiles. The mold line did not show until it was drybrushed.

Welcome Wez to the Forum.

I only cut about 1/10th of my KS pledge and I'm O.K. with that. By making these smaller pieces and posting it here, it sends a small visual message to Stefan and DF that they are WANTED. Even to the point of hacking a whole set up to get them. I understand not wanting to do it to painted pieces, because you also probably didn't need to buy all the paint. I went unpainted with all the various paints, just so I could do this. I also wanted the paint for when I sculpt my own stuff it will match my DF pieces. One of my problems is I haven't even painted my Dungeon Game Tiles yet. I'm a little slow and I also cut up a much larger percentage of my Game Tiles and they are tougher than these Cavern pieces. In the end, I just realy like what I can make with the smaller pieces. ;-)

I bet Stefan puts an advanced builder set for both the Caverns and Game Tiles in the next KS. Maybe even Ice and Lava too. I would like to see a wider range of water pieces with different height waterfalls or a w.f. block.

Registered on this forum just to violently agree with this post.

Maybe I suck at making setups - but I CONSTANTLY wish I had these pieces, and I don't want to cut up my painted pieces to make them.
