Heya Postal, due to a lot of heat I recieved when discussing making these walls (as I used another forumite's RESIN Torch Wall as an example piece) I have decided not to post a how-to.

Sadly that forumite did not post a how do for his piece but if I were to do so I have a feeling it may upset a lot of folks regardless that I think my proccess is likley very different. Why dont you email me and I can give you some pointers? Please see the email address above.

Thanks =)

Fizzikx, you should put a how-to video or pictures on this subject.

Which size and color of LEDs did you use? Did you use a resistor in series?

Give up the goods, man!

@JasonYoung/Dungeonmastermark - Thanks! I just posted a few a bit ago. Please enjoy

@LordDust - Sounds great please email me at sfoshmvjc on gmail if you want to order a few, or for pricing on me modding your tiles.

@Crimson_King_Of_the_Tower - Thanks man! You can find the battery holders here: http://shop.evilmadscientist.com/produc ... tsmenu/537

It is also where I got the LEDs from which flicker

@jchunick - Thanks! It wasn’t super hard, but instead was very tedious. The hardest part is drilling without damaging the tile. Luckily I was able to setup a few templates and use them so it makes it easier than otherwise. I had to burn 3 pieces to get it figured out 100%.

As for the "flame droop" its actually an optical illusion as the photo was taken from above. I found that there is a moldable silicone which works best - I got it a hobby lobby but I dont have a link. I also found that after putting on the initial blob if i used the toothpick while holding the piece upside down that it completely eliminates any "droop" after that. I'll post a few pics of the other 8 walls I built later next week after I use them this weekend.

Thanks to everyone else for the kind words and support =)

That is pretty slick. I've been thinking of making my own, as well, down the road once I get the tiles painted. Did you use the flickering lights from modeltrainsoftware.com along with their 3V Coin Cell Holder with Switch?

Although, the one flame that's drooping is a problem. Did you use the clear goop stuff I've seen in other videos where they're creating fire that you manipulate with a popsicle stick or toothpick?
If you aren't gaming then you aren't living.
