Most of my electrical knowledge comes from high school physics and from osmosing things from electrical engineers when I hang out with them, but I think all you need to drop the voltage for the LED is a resistor.

Nice, guys!

I\'ll be making another wall with the contacts a bit higher... the second line of bricks down from the top have one that\'s in the middle and that\'s a good height too so I\'ll add the contacts there. I also have my forstner bits so I won\'t have to hack \'n slash my way through the dwarvenite.

Looks like the right height for a Dwarf or Halfling, though.

I was waiting for someone to point that out. :-)

Yeah, where the connections are for the torch I noticed it could go a bit higher after standing a figure next to it... when I made the lantern tonight and connected it the point that it should be higher was very clear!... that\'s all right... that\'s why the whole thing is a prototype piece.

This is great. I love the lantern. If I was having something like this made for me, it is my opinion the lantern should be eye level to the mini. I believe that would place it higher on the wall would it not?

Here\'s a prototype old copper lantern I made as another light source that can be swapped out. I want to make a couple more types of light sources. I was thinking of other medieval wall sconces and braziers.
