That's freaking amazing!

I was thinking of finally caving (see what I did there?) and getting some KS2 cavern sets. I think I'm totally going to steal this -- do some of the small pools with this, and also some of the mushrooms. That's AWESOME.

The glowing footprints are a simple but brilliant idea. Thank you for posting this!

On one more thing. It is helpful to mark the tiles on the bottom so you can easily find them. In my case I used piece of painters tape to mark them.

VERY nice I had thought about doing something like that for when one of my players cast detect magic.

Secrets in the dark

Here is a simple idea I had when I first backed the KS1 dungeon tiles.

While there is light all looks normal:

But after you turn off the lights the secrets are revealed:

To achieve this effect I used a glow in the dark paint I purchased on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/GREEN-Extreme-Pai ... dark+paint

This paint leaves a starry look so it might not be the best depending on what you wish to do, but I have yet to try other brands. The paint comes with a useful UV/Blacklight light you can use to reveal the hidden paint in normal lighting. I plan to use it for detect magic spells or to partially reveal hidden footsteps.

The paint comes in different colors but I only recommend green since it produces the brightest light. The blue is hard to see and the rest of the colors don’t last long enough.

I also used these paints in my caverns sets to highlight the small pools or green and blue. I even used it in my painted river sets, but again the blue does not show up well.
