Cracking job matching your dwarvenite to your resin William :)

Looking forward to seeing your Stepwell

After posting that I took a long nap. And while laying there I realized, the Stepwell build has had me painting a portion of each delivered KS-1 through KS-5. So there is a little 'something' from each KS in the build. Didn't plan that, but it's just worked out that way.
It will be posted "very soon", that's a little tighter schedule than 'soon'. ;)

Yours resin seems to be a little bit darker than mine. Looks good 8-) 8-) 8-)
Really? That is one of my lighter Resin Floors.
I was thinking I need to add some lightening dry brush to a few of my other resin cavern floors and many of the dungeon floors to bring them to this brightness. It's probably the one "color" (hue/brightness/contrast) that "most" of my resin cavern and dungeon floors are. Not many are lighter, but quite a few are darker. Good thing is that it's only the very last step that would be even necessary to even them all out.

EDIT - Thanks Zach.

Well, ... the well has forced me to paint a few of the KS-2 Cavern Floors. I have always planned them to fit in with my Resin Caverns and I think I came fiarly close. Now, only X????X(-27) to go. :o :(

I did paint the tiles on top Base Gray first then continued as DF suggests and added the little amount of Schoolbus to both Olive Dry Brush and then to the very faint Stone Edge Dry Brush. So more along the lines of painting the Dungeon Tiles, but last two steps modified with the yellow and I kept the last Dry Brush, ultra light.

Anyway, let me know how you like.

2x2 Cavern Floor Tiles - (A few were of the modified pieces shown previously in this thread, but not the "creek" type ones yet.)

Here are two with a 4x4 Resin Cavern Floor mixed with both KS-2 2x2 and 4x4 Dwarvenite Cavern Floors for reference.

I think the colors fit together just fine and even with a different hue, I'm O.K. with it. ;)

Sounds to me like you need to start a gaming group, William. Find a comfy chair for your back and have some fun. :)
But, then I would have to finish all this painting.
I think what I need is my very own Erin or someone who loves painting that much.
Two things:

Our best motivation for painting is knowing I am going to use them in a game on a given date, so c'mon dust off theose brushes and get to it! once of course you find a really comfy chair.

Erin is busy painting our Dreadforest so paws off! comprende?

I'm planning on purchasing 3 more water sets before I get to painting all of them. I'm shooting for +/- a third of my tiles modified. I would modify less if I only had Dwarvenite,
Do you have them painted yet? I would *love* to see the final product.
Nope. :| :? Me too. :P  What a way to make me feel guilty. ;)
I'm kind-of more of an idea-guy. Once I know "it's" feasible, I move on.
Someday I'll get around to it, but I don't have any up-coming games to force the finalization of them, nor will I.
Remember, this is just a distraction for me. :ugeek:
