Here's a pic that shows the initial cuts a bit better:

It's still WIP, but you can see the idea. The balcony now sits flush. There's a chunk of space that needs to be filled in with some sculpting. Once I get the posts properly aligned I will then glue the pegs in. They nor only keep the separate pieces together and aligned, but provide support and a framework to sculpt around.
 Love it.

Thanks Stefan. :)

Tip #7 (I'm counting Josh's Diagonal Windows as #6) - Bar as Counter -

You can fit the Long Bar between the posts (short or tall) as a counter wall.
Fits nicely between the V-grooves to fill wall opening.

Tip #8 - Window wall sorting when storing.

I mentioned this before in another thread, but thought it would fit here as well.
Just store window walls upside down with window painted in a light color down that channel. Match the size of paint line and location with window(s) or arrow slots above. I did Bubble Blue for windows and Lava Orange for Arrow Slits.

Looks great. Thanks 8-)
It took me less than 5 mins. to fix it :-P and I figured nobody had seen it in that time... but yeah, it was a weird thing because I originally uploaded the image of the house and window first, yet it disappeared on me and I ended up posting the 2nd image accidentally in it's place.

Thanks. Glad you like :-)

I'm very interested in stain glass, so please share here when you get it figured out.

I'm probably going to try William's shutter and curtain trim. I like to put the curtain and shutters together in a window, but it can be tricky and they kind of stick out from the wall quite a bit. A trim should fix that.

If you're not into "destructive" mods then here's a "non-destructive" mod you can do to your CBS shutter to add a bit more Tudor-ness to it :-)

I bought a product called Darice Plastic Canvas, in black. I also cut a piece of clear plastic for the window glass from some kids toy packaging.
