Do you know if that's the case with the Thomarillion kitchen set too?

Sorry I don't have the Thomarillion kitchen set.

Often the models are taller than the walls. I do not worry most of the time. I like tall walls and often stack.

Flat on back sadly the door does not work.

With the imminent arrival of KS4, I realized I don't have near enough pieces to furnish the castle of my dreams. I also don't have time to learn how to paint it that quickly. I'm confident I can learn to paint, but for now I'm prioritizing immediate play-ability.

Any recommendations for pre-painted furniture? I already have a couple of the DF Dungeon Dressing packs, but I need more variety. What are your experiences with J. A. Hecker's Flights of Fancy? Any advice would be appreciated.
I have bought a set off of Mr. Hecker. It is a small inn bar set. I can say it is easily the most detailed and cool looking bar set I have. I've had it out and it has been handled by several people. His stuff is hydrostone, so it can chip, but it is just as durable as if not more so, when compared to some of the resin I have had.

He also accommodated my preferences, like clear glassware. After the order was placed though, communication pretty much stopped and it took a bit. He does often make them for each order though, so it is understandable. It just took a little longer than I was initially told and I couldn't raise a reply, it just showed up.

As long as the above works for you, his stuff is pretty nice. I do intend to buy a few more things from him.

Next up is the Altar and Chalice from Zealot Miniatures. It is made of a resin that feels more like a plastic to me.

This is a tudor roof with wooden shingles, an alternate style roof that comes apart and has a attic window and trap door. It is from Amber's Secret Cove (jolly blackburn) and is made out of resin. I didnt put it together perfectly. When it shipped is was missing the trap door but did include a few extra pieces and he quickly sent me multiple replacement trapdoors.

This is the Dungeon Furniture Pack from Mantic Games. They are made out of a flexible plastic much like the collectible minis.
