I really hope for CBS and Castles expansions for next years kickstarter. It would be very nice to have more variations in the posts, a tutor Advanced builder, and maybe even some alternate wall styles for Roman style buildings to match those Pompeiian streets.

I would also love to see expansions to KSIII, as there is tons of room to build out on what is on offer now. Will that be KSVII, or KSVIII? I am unsure what to hope for, more CBS or outdoors.

Great Job!

This is the kind of stuff the CBS really needs. The current bunch of bits have great modularity, but few ways to put it together to make houses look different. CBS really needs a bunch of half walls, tall walls, different roofs, dormer windows and stuff to allow different looking buildings.

Peace
I agree, if you think about all the building variations in the world and/or history (not even getting into 'fantasy'), the CBS system and it's modularity could spin into several KS's in the next few decades (A hope of mine. ;) ).

So first a disclaimer: Not original ideas.
So on to the displays, this was done by William already by cutting up dwarven forge pieces with an exacto knife, EEEK! Too expensive for me to do that. So these are scratch built:

This is a half floor made from 1/2 in birch plywood and 3 half walls the one on the left is finished the right is the fresh cut foam board.

The half walls, right is finished, middle is primed and left is cut.
And here is gluing the wood piece into the cut groove.

Ta da, finished product:

And now combined with dwarven forge

Now on to more pieces.

I love this kind of stuff, strips of a towel for a thatched roof is a cool idea. It looks as if you built the roof structure too. Is there any pictures of that process? I can't wait to see the mods/new CBS pieces you are coming up with.

If you have not seen it, there is another thread I started about this very subject.

Keep there ideas flowing... ;)

Not so keen on the outdoor stuff, I can make my own with some foam or other stuff. While I like the CBS stuff, it needs more diversity, right now I find that the diversity of the structures one can make is a bit limited. I am working on a bunch of mods right now which I will post as I finish them, including:
a tudor style corner structure that can be multi story
8x8 roof
plywood floors 2"x4", and 8x8
Round pillar style posts
double story posts
double story arch tiles
and .....

I want to be able to build temples/churches, more varied town houses,
and inns.

I would probably back a CBS II kickstarter

I am torn about what I want for KS7. I really want expansions to Cities and Castles... but I also want some outdoor stuff and expansions to mountains.

Outdoor stuff and expansions to mountains sounds great to me, I only need a little more city stuff.
