I would love to know if the new/old battlements are compatible. I will be sad if not, as my funds are limited. This should be answered at the latest when the new KS begins (IMHO) so we know whether to invest in both kinds or just stick to a single kind.

The big challenge - as Stefan already wrote - will be the price. You can get 24 inches of the simple KS3 walls (foundations + battlements) for $95 painted or $75 unpainted. Those epic city walls are many time more impressive, but how many times more expensive will they be?

Regardless, I really look forward to some more amazing pictures of builds using them.
Cost is certainly always a consideration. But, as Stefan has already mentioned, you will have access to the inside space - much better than with the basic configuration using the narrow passages. There will also be other features that you simply won't get with the basic narrow passages as walls.

Really, the narrow passages are a great solution for those who simply don't have the funds or space - you can still build a perfectly good basic wall. However, I think there will be a lot of new features and options that should entice enough old and new backers.

I can hardly wait for March so that everyone can see what's been created. :-D

Yes, the stonework in these walls and towers is wonderful. I almost wish Stefan would go back and do an alternate version of KS1 with the irregular stone pattern. I'm pretty heavy on KS1 pieces but I would definitely love to get a hold of more with the new stone pattern.

Are you referring to how his face looks uncannily like Deadpool?....

Not much in the way of new beans, but a just hint... Enjoy!

First of all - Nice new avatar Beanslayer! and thanks for the bean ;)

New battlements as the paint is in differing locations on each section - currently there is only 1 tile design as far as moss placement and it has NONE on the face, only on the crenellations.

The real question is what is this:

I would imagine we would see new street tiles to fit the round towers?
