In my early painting days I painted one of my 4x6 floors in COS style and it was close. Not exact, but close. Might be worth revisiting that paint job with a few pieces to expand the COS room, maybe after i get me KSV.

I might have to paint some of my DoD to match my CoS. I got one painted and one unpainted during KS1 but I also think some of the pillar walls would look good painted as a CoS expansion. I am going to have more than enough standard dungeon as is so I think this could be a cool use of some of the extra stuff. I would like to do a magnet wall or two so I can hang the manacles in the CoS and a few of the LED walls too. I could also paint some of the glowing orbs red.
Excellent idea!

Will have to go look for the thread on painting your own CoS. I might have it bookmarked on my desktop...

You are right about the 4 sets... all four of those floor grates are unbent ;)

I only got one during the KS (i should have bought a BUNCH more add-ons) - got an unpainted from Thod and then got a second painted off eBay...

The good news is if you want more floor space it is a SUPER easy paint job - there is a tutorial on this site and i followed it (i'm not a very good painter) and i have to mark the pieces i painted on the bottom so i can tell them apart from factory

Here is Quorthon13's tutorial:

I wish I'd gotten a second painted CoS (I got a second one as unpainted for the pool). At the time I thought I was spending a lot on terrain. Silly me, KS1 was a steal.
Agreed. $500 for 10 sets & 10 Stretch goal packs! I remember thinking that they would have to get a LOT of use to justify the $1000 I spent in total. (That part was easy. My DF gets used 50 times a year)

I was so young and naive. It was long long ago.

I think it's four sets of CoS since there are only 4 diagonal walls per set. I've seen Matt use the CoS quite a few times in the 94 episodes I've watched so far.

I was watching Critical Role the other night and saw more of the new KS4 Castles pieces - mainly the LED stuff I worked on - so I took some screenshots. :-)
