Totally awesome cemetery! Is there a story behind the Maltese Cross on the main gates?

I have used the GW graveyard with the Walking Dead rules. I may try it with Black Plague rules too. Green hoard has rules for barricades and hedges. I may look at using the new rules with the iron gates.

So completed painting the Mausoleum and reasonably pleased with how its turned out and looks good with our CBS :)

Not sure it was a good idea to build a Mausoleum so close to the town centre

and there seems to be a disturbance to the natural order and it can be good for the peaceful citizens.

There will be another update to see what happens when the undead arise ................

That's a really cool floor plan and build. Looks like it would have tons of fun adventuring areas for all kinds of heroes and villains. Thanks for sharing.

The photos sure highlight the different color palettes and the generally disjointed look of the Castles pieces - especially when mixed with City Builder.

Peace

Dear Lagomorph:

I think I've loved every build you posted.

This one - and the lessons learnt - much appreciated.

Now, just imagine now much BIGGER everything would look if all the figures were nicely painted 15mm....which by the way have oodles of civilians readily available.

All for 1/5 to 1/4 the price of a decent 25mm.

Thank you :)

But 15mm too small for these bunnies and far too fiddly to paint.

I'd like to see 15mm figures on some Crenellated/Battlemented walls and towers to see if they look credible.
I run a standing step behind the walls for the 15's to stand on. IT isnt' perfect - ecven the CBS doors are too big - but a 4x factor in available area makes it worthwhile.

Always like the scale of battles that 15mm would allow for, its the fiddly painting that puts me off, its difficult enough to paint 28mm to an acceptable standard.

Though I have got a set of 'All Quiet on the Martian Front' to paint and play with my son, hopefully get them done over Christmas after my Mausoleum is completed and I repel my sons Skellies in our next battle.

Got any pictures TLW ?

It would look strange. 15mm miniatures wouldn't be able to "see" between the merlons. Even the 28mm miniatures I used in my build posts strain credibility a bit, especially if a weapon accessory (ballista, Greek fire projector) is mounted on a high merlon next to a mini.

I see Godofwar only games on tables. Sad!

Seriously 15mm would probably make DF huge. I don't have any 15mm stuff
Nope. At my age gaming on tables only is not an option, its a necessity.

The hedges are from a GW set I had from years ago - I was impressed at how good they look here :)

Working on adding a GW Sigmarite Mausoleum - started work on this yesterday. Really impressed with the quality and quantity and it will be a great addition to my build and a source my sons skellies to assault the castle :)

Link to my WiP build flickr album so you can see the progress so far - shows up to half the contents.
