Yep, I use it outside.
Outside AND use a respirator.
Or maybe, inside, no ventilation and a ready assortment of fantastic colors to reproduce what you will be seeing...

Army Painter sells spray cans of matte finish sealant. I am supposed to get my cubes today. If I notice the same thing, I will hit a cube with the sealant to see if it helps and let you know.
General reminder - ARmy Builder are one of the few sprays that are Spiropolous approved for use on Dwarvenite as a base coat. No probs. I did my mass painting by undercoating the pieces with Army Builder gray. Works fine. Their other paints including sealant should likwise pose no problems.

BTW, if you have a large quantity to paint and want to do a Paynte Projeyct with a bunch of friends, using the AB saves one painting station and is pretty cheap.

This was the sole reason why I buy unpainted. I want that control over the colors. I will NOT buy painted because I don't want to be controlled by another persons paint applications (for better or for worse). Plus, DF is really simple to paint, besides the tiny detailed bits (banners, skulls etc) the painting goes by really fast. Plus, DF paints are fantastic quality for a fantastic price.

Here's a couple shots of a wall spacer with anti-shine applied vs shiny. In the photos, the piece on the left and the piece above have the anti-shine. It works well but also tones down the white drybrush a bit, so it looks a tad more grey.

I just opened my shipment of cube spacers, wall spacers, and modular walls of doom. All of them are glossy. Not overly so, but its a big contrast to the other nonglossy pieces. When it warms up outside I will try out the matte spray to see if that corrects it.
