Small things like that do irritate me as there is no good reason for it.

While DF has top-notch customer service, this is an issue that I would be heavily surprised to be addressed. They would need to create new molds, produce, possibly paint, ship, and distribute pieces. It's a logistics and financial nightmare. Much better to find an alternative solution, like a preorder of fixed pieces at a discount. It's not good for the consumer, but DF is a small company and the castles KS was pretty tight from what I know from random quotes from Stefan and crew.
I am actually extremely surprised that they continue to sell "Arch Walls" without a warning. They are egregiously undersized. And not only are they selling them, but they also added them to the City Builder pieces on the website, thus actively marketing them with pieces they don't fit. And again, no mention of how they are not as long as they need to be to fit into the pillars.

I'm not sure how they ended up being not long enough to fit into the slots, but they leave an obvious crack.
Yeah, arch walls are kind of a bummer. Great piece that I picked up quite a few of, but not as nice as intended.

The small tower battlements don't align that well and the paint scheme is off but not something that is probably worth fixing. As stated the Pac-Man pieces are probably the worst offender.

Mainly the tower stairs are too tall and the pac man 3/4 circle floor doesn't have a square cutout section.

So do we have to request these replacement pieces (stairs and round floors) or are they going out to everyone that got the original pieces?
What is wrong with these pieces. I have a lot of the Castle stuff but as of yet had to use any of it so I have never put any of it together. What should I be looking for ?

The restock sets did not have the corrected pacman pieces. But Chinese New Year is over so we should see something soon.

Nate is an employee, this is a thread started by him saying they would be taking care of exactly this. I'm certain they will address it.

I won’t be spending another 10K if they hope we forget - but I don’t think they will, Nate has already said they’d work something out with the stairs and lamps etc.
I'm with you on this... its a niche product that a few spend vast amounts of money on. To leave those people displeased like this would be a disastrous breach of trust for future projects. DF knows this, their customer service has taken care of such issues in the past, I'm confident they will again... just an issue of how long it takes.

I just saw the thread on the new mold for the 8x8 flagstone floor. Reading the tea leaves a bit, but if they redid that mold, perhaps they redid some of the others to "fix" the worst of the issues we've seen. Just speculating here.
