Well regardless of what might have been seen, there were no significant quantities of diagonal walls in the restock that was posted. If there were, I missed them in the first minute or so the restocked shop was available.

While there is a lot on the restock list due in today, sadly there are many items still showing in the DoD store section that are not in this restock. :(

I'm looking forward to picking up some Diagonal Wall packs and Passage packs from the restock, as I don't have many at the moment. I really like the options they bring to the table.
Man, I hate to be the one to break it to you- No Vaulted Diagonal Walls this restock. I share your sorrow.
I could have sworn it was on the restock list! Or at least that it said restock expected on the store page? I had it on my to-buy list as well :-/

The center photo is from a Secret Weapon KS.

This is what made me decide to order more DOD large floors. I also added more narrow passages and some elevations.People like giant rooms and Big Monsters

Image

Some times you need to make sure the figures will fit.I do not have the elevations I want for this build yet.

Image

I will order the DOD elevations when they are available.

I would consider four 8" by 8" and 20 4" by 4" inch. You might not need as many if you use Mountain set 8" by 8"s in stead of DOD.
...

Image

I have found that I need a good combination.
That's a lot of 4" squares! I think I will up my large floor packs a bit... I will probably be using them for elevation a fair amount as well.

Also, I love that middle floor piece! Is that from a resin set?

Ever thought of printing out the pieces on paper and doing some test dungeons? Or using the Map Maker tool to see if you have enough?

Oh nice! I hadn't thought of printing out pieces, but that's a great idea. I've been playing around a bit what the pieces I do have to try and get a better feel (2 x classic core remastered & 4 DoD encounters).

Thanks for all the input! Here's where my buy plan would get me at the moment:

Walls: 52 vaulted + 10 vaulted LED + 30 Classic = 92 Walls
Corners: 41 Vaulted Corners + 12 LED corners + 16 Classic + 12 Curved Corners + 12 large curves = 93 Corners
Floors: 67 2x2 + [(32 1x2 = 16 4" coverage) + (29 1x1 = 7 4" coverage)] + 12 1x4 = 102 Floors
Large Floors: 2 8x8 + 10 4x4 + 1 12x12 Platform = 128 2x2 equivalent Coverage

So my current potential ratio will be 92 Walls : 93 Corners : 102 Floors, or very roughly 1:1:1

Factoring in large floors, my current potential ratio will be 92 Walls : 93 Corners : 230 Floors, or very roughly 1:1:2

Given all that, I'm thinking I may lose a Dungeon Floor Pack out of my favorite buy plan. Maybe add a 3rd set of epic stairs :)

Image

I saw that I needed more matching patterns when I started painting DOD

Image

I have found that I need a good combination.

Image

I needed 24 of these so I had to make them.

Image

You can see that 12 corners was not enough.

Image

This was too confusing to some players so I made the lava tiles.

Image

I painted some of these tiles for different Games. I painted 24 more for Massive Darkness.

Image

I find that 24 or 30 4" by 4" is usually enough to follow a theme. I have added shuttered widows so that I can use the windows. I am working on LED fire places.
