I'll be going with a completely unpainted dungeon grey Shrine of Syssul as I want to steal the sandstone style paintjob Lady Sabelle showed off on a piece or two of it in her own image gallery. I might pick up a jade anteroom add on just for the cool green LEDs though. I also plan on grabbing a set or two of plain dungeon walls and maybe a vaulted starter set to round out the forsaken temple theme all done up in that sandstone color scheme and then I can do some Indiana Jones or Egyptian tomb style dungeon crawls with the temple pieces scattered in the build.

Just kickstarted the Dungeon Crawl Classics 0-level scratch off sheet characters. Will be ready for many many PCs to die in the Shrine next year.

My players will never have a chance to do so, unfortunately, or fortunately.

I picked up the 3-headed cobra shown earlier in this thread and it's awesome in person in case you had any doubts. I love the idea of a three stage encounter (alter of Sysuul, 3-headed snake avatar of Sysuul (cobra), humanoid avatar of Sysuul (this KS capstone)).
I'm far more interested in the Cobra than the capstone!!
I'll be selling mine.

Hi Folks, I am so happy you like the Forsaken Temple! That was what I lobbied for the most along with the Burrows with my team:) Gone are the days of dictatorship at the forge and we are now a.....democracy of sorts....lol
..........

Jade will very likely be a limited run available in this kickstarter with a few, maybe a hundred or so in the store later...they are very expensive to produce and making them is complex. A re-order of them would have to be big, and that is too risky for our small company (yes we ARE small)

Spiropolous, the entire KS was far better planned and infinitely better executed than KS 1-4. I think the only mistake was selling KS5 as 'cheaper' than previous ones...and the only mistake there was not explaining that any buyer could get most of the bling cheaply. I think I could do what I really need for under $800, but The Temple cal so so does Lady Sabelle's Gorgon Tier.

I know a lot of people on KS we're talking about how they hoped the temple pieces would be somewhat generic and usable as a temple for multiple things. It seems the snake theme is fairly embedded into the set, but what else could the pieces work for?

I've already envisioned using the jade set as an eastern themed emperors throne room.
I think the temple special pieces can be used 'piecemeal' all sorts of places.
The temple walls, not so much. But they can be used for one small part (or several smaller rooms) of a dungeon, instead of a huge temple.
