I was playing around with a 3D print (demon face) I'm doing for Archimagus and got inspired to mix stuff up from KS1, KS3, and KS4, along the amazing gelatinous cube I picked up here.

These tests make me really excited for the additional elevation options coming with KS5!

E, whose J-Cube is that?

In case anyone is interested, SPlintered Light minis has a 15mm J-Cube.

None other than our own multi-talented Biowizard's! I took advantage when he offered gelatinous cubes up for sale a while back.

On a related note- how have you all handled elevation within city builds? For instance, if you wanted to have one set of buildings at ground level, and build another set of buildings on an elevation tray, how would you handle the transition? Are there any specific stairs/ramps/elevation pieces that you think would work well?
I actually just did this. I just used some boxes and the mountain 8x8 floors with City Builder posts inserted to make an elevated area and then used my streets to connect the lower and upper tiers. I'll have more photos when I update my City Campaign thread, but he's a picture of what I did.

This is how we do it. I even have a painted 3.5 x 3.5' box lid, very sturdy, which just happened to be 2" tall...makes a very large elevated area.

If you put the Imperial Street that is going up as a ramp with its lower end butted up against the end of another street below, it gets rid of the edge.

So, inspired by what Vegomatic showed early in this thread using Erinthor Mountain floors as "roofs" with CBS posts/walls, I just went online and grabbed a handful of crenellations. I'm planning to use my caverns, CBS and mountains to build some flat-topped, stone-wall structures decorated with the crenellations for Dwarven/Duergar strongholds in my Out of the Abyss campaign. Thanks a lot for giving me an excuse to hit the shop again before my KS5 arrives... exactly what my wallet needed I'm sure...

Love that elevated build AS - looks great, but its the TREES and hedges that really make the whole thing beautiful and come alive IMHO. Nice job!

Cracking build AS - liking that a lot - Great Job :)

Not considered too many multi elevated builds other than using ramps and such to get to upper stories, but ground level has always been constant - will have to think on this ..........

Love that multi-tiered setup! A city in my current campaign initially called for lots of setups like that, and I was going to custom create a bunch of elevated street setups, but I never got around to it and the campaign moved out of the city. But still...with my 3D Printer on the way, a ramp city street piece is sorely tempting!

They had too low of an incline for what I was needing and I didn't have enough either. I wanted a 45-ish degree angle. I guess I'll try to get my campaign write up done ASAP so I can post more pics of the setup.
