I remove the batteries when storing for unknown timeframe. I keep them in a snack baggie in the same container as the pieces they go in.

I use the cases too. Thanks for the photos. I have not seen the factory painted LEDs.

What set are the winged monkey statues from? I don't recall seeing those before.

Also, I thought this thread would be about batteries. I feel like batteries should be removed for storage, but that seems like a huge hassle. Thoughts on that?
Castle KS - Look here.

We do love DF LEDS, used the Winged Monkey statue LEDS as a warning indicator of nearby undead :)

They are stored in divided Really Useful boxes 11litre.

Our only very minor gripe is that the Pedestals are prepainted in a fairly uninspiring green.
Still nothing stopping us from painting them ourselves
Man, those look incredible and they bring to mind so strongly the "Watchers" from LOTR.

I also have few LEDs and msotly buy them for the non-lighted use. I may get some lantern posts soon, whenever I make my next order though.

Nice storage, indeed!

Thanks all,

Rizoum my 9 year old loves to play with my DF all the time, I can see her getting careless :) and i can already see her being a big fan of the LEDs :D

UncleBilly that looks awesome, I'm jealous i missed out on KS3 and 4 due to funds and not understanding them. Looks like you kept the original plastic they came in as well? so far these have must been blister pack types and one or two in each. I think i'll follow Alphyn's idea with the foam and then snag some organizers like you've got.

I've got a lot of Sterilite small 3 drawer bins i picked up from Aldi when they have em on sale for 6 bucks each they are 12.8 x 10.8 x 9.5 inches so i should be able to get each encounter in a drawer by itself. Also looks like everyone i know owns the same keyboard. I've got one at home, work, i bought one for my mom, and 4 other friends have one. Not to mention it's the one work buys for everyone :D

Looking at all the LED pieces in your trays unclebilly, makes me feel just a little impotent. ;)
Of those shown, I own all of one orb with claw and the battery base for it and five of the mini stands. That's it. :|
I do have a set of braziers from KS-3 and a 6" tower wall that's lighted. I'm also planning on getting one of the LED floor sets from KS-4 this week.

Nice collection. I'm a bit jelly... ;)
What can I say I am a big fan of the LED stuff. :)
