I believe someone posted in a different thread a wood table or chest from Ikea that had drawers that were good height for storing lots of Dwarvenite.
That's the IKEA Alex unit.

Mine are on bookshelves in the game room, but I’m going to have to remove more books soon to make room...

I use a standard bedroom cabinet of drawers and a kitchen enclosed shelving unit that I put clear boxes into. In the cabinet most things are in the cardboard boxes from DF.

Really anything can work well.

what type of bins are those
My bins are mostly these:
http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/usa/

I have 2 of these http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/u ... itreUS.php
2 of these http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/u ... 0litre.php
One of these for little stuff: http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/u ... treOrg.php
And about 10 of these that I use the trays for minis and the boxes for terrain: http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/u ... e2_5LT.php

It can get pricey.
I know its been a while since a post was last made on this thread but I'm looking to find storage so I can easily access my DoD. And with Caverns on the way next year I will need a better system than just leaving the pieces in their respective boxes.

I really like the bins you have used Morgrim. Aside from some of the clear bins (which I believe I will purchase) does anyone have a larger piece of furniture that works really well for storing Dwarvenite? I believe someone posted in a different thread a wood table or chest from Ikea that had drawers that were good height for storing lots of Dwarvenite.

I used to store all L walls in one tote, all corners in another, etc. But since my DoD has arrived it's all been blown out of the water due to running out of space....

I used to keep my DF organized by set but am in the midst of reorganization. Now I will store it by function. Walls, floors, cavern wall, etc. The sets from CBS and Castle will be separate as will special sets like Den of Evil, Woodland, Catacombs. As I am not planning to ever sell my sets it makes little sense to store them as such. I am keeping resin separate from Dwarvenite however.

I have mine on book shelves by set type (City, Cavern, Dungeon, etc). Each shelf is further organized by piece type (walls, floors, etc). I have a separate shelf for accessories like tavern furniture, and LED pieces.

Anyone thinks it's worth separating the magnetic walls from the rest?
I separated them. I have SO many of the non-magnetic walls, it is a pain to find the magnetic ones when I want to unless I keep them separate.
