The chain on the grappling hook from KS4 is an actual chain (and it does in fact stick to the magnets but that actually looks like it might come in handy ;)

Is the chain on the magnetic manticals made from Dwarvenite also? I assume it is-- but I wanted to confirm.

I don't think we've seen dwavenite molded like this before. The closest would be ladders or balconies, both of which are less detailed.
