For a piece of Dwarven Forge forum history, I believe Rodenbach showed us first the concept of such a great piece.

Yeah, couldn't find these threads but recalled Rodenbach's beautiful tower.

Pictures have been fixed, I think. Isn't it this one, jackattack?

Rodenbach showed us his first execution of the concept in 2009 (thread remains, but no pix), and the concept was also introduced with diagrams in 2006 (thread lost in hack).

Otherworld did a version of the large curved wall (with full "pie wedge" floors) prior to that, but that thread also appears to be lost.

Two things

1) I learned something about one of the encounters that I'm going to buy!!!

I was still waiting to see those shorter wall pieces I didn't realize that the one long wall piece was actually three separate sections wirh the center one removable - very clever

2). Thanks for the history lesson bio - all of us as DF customers owe a great debt to those who came before us for your great cleverness and ingenuity and the incredible builds. Now DF is making these things easy, but in years past they took Creative people with unique ways of putting things together. It is thanks to Rodrnbach and many others that we have so many awesome options today!

Tom launched it and is in charge. It's been up for years. I regret that I don't have enough time to participate on both forums.

Wow that led me down a rabbit hole. Never realized we had a French forum at http://dwarvenforge.forumprod.com/forum.php

I see some familiar names like Rodenbach, Estebor, etc.

I thought we lost those pictures.
When I just saved them I noticed the size is original and larger than 680x680.
Does this mean anything? Has DF upped the download size for new pictures?
