My concern on magnets remains polarity conflicts... how will they interact with other magnetized pieces (e.g. the flame jet and levers)?

115 for the whole shebang is almost a no brainer given how much time it would take to do it yourself later. At that price I see a lot of magnets in the future...

Only 2x large curve backfills? There are 4 large curve walls without backfill (2 each in Lava Bridge and Eldritch Pools).

No boulder for the Missing pieces of Doom makes sense in that the DoD comes with a boulder and Doomroller, but only 1 ramp. If you want to use both you need another ramp.

Yeah, I think the 115.30 was for everything which is in line of the estimates they gave in the early August update.

Huh. Maybe not.

From the KS comments page:

Selecting magnets adds to the cost, but the prices are quite reasonable. For example, the upgrade cost for the entire DoD was $115.30."

I guess we'll all find out soon.

I would love to go all-in on magnets.

Thanks for the info.

Huh. $115.30 to magnetize Sysul? That's about a 25% increase in price.
Looks like I'll have to pick and choose a few select magnetized parts, not go whole hog. Oh well.

It will be important to get more images/clarification on the magnetized pieces, and on the capacity for later addition of magnets under the new plan. I really hope there is no trouble doing DIY magnets later.

One perhaps important question about the magnet options. If for example one pledged for a DoD complete set, does that mean you have to get all of the parts with Magnets or all without? Can the various parts/levels be mixed and matched with some getting magnets and some not?

OK, I couldn't wait without peeking. A quick look-see shows the following:

Our Pledge Manager ends on Sunday, October 8th at 9PM US Eastern Time.

Terrain Tray Magnets
Most sets now also include a magnet upgrade option. After working with the factory since the Kickstarter ended, we came up with a simpler and much more affordable solution for adding magnets to pieces: permanent, factory-installed anchor magnets on the underside of compatible pieces (by set) so they stick to our Terrain Trays. Pieces such as accessories, elevation, and daises do not have the magnet ports. Additional magnets can still be purchased separately. (Note: The sets with pre-installed magnets costs more, like an upgrade for the Shrine of Sysuul is an extra $115.30)

Lava Bridge is now split into three encounters.
Part 1 - A grand entrance chamber leading to an elevated platform ripe for a a major battle. Note: there are two more parts that make up the entire Lava Bridge Encounter Area. $225/$321
Part 2 - A deadly crossing over a fiery lava pit patrolled by a savage Vermillion straight from the abyss! Note: there are two more parts that make up the entire Lava Bridge Encounter Area. $175/$239
Part 3 - A large series of raised chambers full of arcane secrets and tricks. Note: there are two more parts that make up the entire Lava Bridge Encounter Area. $288/$420

Last Pieces of Doom $45/$63 (no marble option noted)
Fill out your Dungeon of Doom pledge with a few missing and low quantity pieces.
4x 4" Dais Outside Curve
2x Large Curve Backfill Floor
4x Dais Square Inside Corner
8x Diagonal Backfill Floor
1x Boulder Ramp & Trigger
8x Corner Pillar Post

Sysuul is available in normal/jade and painted/unpainted for $22/$35

There's probably more, but I didn't have time to dig into it deeper. Sorry. :(

EDIT: I broke it. (Just kidding!)
