So... reveal is bumped to 2PM now? Wonder when the KS actually goes up. Still late July?

I think DF has said there will be a goodly amount of KSVI at Gencon. Last year they had three encounters, though that was long after the KS.

Hahahhahaha!

I was just amused by how far afield (and how technical!) the thread was. Carry on with the party, everyone. Until tonight there's nothing to see here anyway. ;)

I can't stay on topic in a job interview or a brief conversation, asking me to do so in a forum is like asking for the sun to stop shining and start radiating cold. You can ask. You can even probably imagine it. Most of the scientific community is still reasonably certain that the likelihood of such transpiring in the foreseeable future approaches zero.

I am excited for the new KS. I feel like I still have so much back log to go in and order from the webstore though! I wonder if I can convince the DF crew to bring a few prototypes to Gen Con? Even just one or two pieces...

I'm getting Rooms 1-3 of KSV tomorrow too. I'm going to have a real hard time concentrating on my DM'ing tomorrow. Excitement!

That was a nice refresh. Those caverns look so amazing. I think I'm going all-in on this next one. I bet the elevations are going to be outrageous.

Uh... you can ship your bucket load of minis somewhere and have them painted for you? More info please. (I am thinking of the 200 Reaper minis that are coming in Feb).

Since several seem interested, here goes! I have only used these guys once and it was a while back, but they used to be relatively cheap and decent quality: Fernando Enterprises. Their new site does say not to use sea mail though. A piece of advice on painting services in general, make sure to find reviews or speak to folks that have used them. Some will burn folks pretty bad. Best option IMO is to find local guys that play war games whose work looks decent to you and see if they would like to make a little extra to support their hobby, then negotiate a price. It helps to have references from a few services about quality and prices so you have a decent point to start negotiation from. Then there is no shipping. The grain of salt here is that you need to get to know them a wee bit to make sure you trust them to have a mess of your figures (a bare bones agreement written down with a witness isn't a terrible idea either way).

To those who have separate bank accounts, etc...a word of caution....in the event that one of you dies, your spouse will NOT have access to any of the funds in your personal account until after a 30-90 days probate period (varies by locale). So if you're splitting rent, etc...your spouse could face real financial hardship at a time when they have to deal with the ramifications of your passing....
so not to be all gloom and doom...a word of advice...prepare a master list for all your accounts with their ids, passwords, security questions and answers (keep it updated)...it will make getting through one's death a hell of a lot easier for the survivor.
This could happen in some states, but most by far pass rights to a spouse immediately. Several ways around this - check with a wills, trusts & estates attorney in your state though. Bottom line, most you should need are wills appointing one another your executor/personal rep / whatever itscalled in your state.
