What is your opinion on "water/lava" options in KS6?

I really want new water and/or lava tiles, and don't really care about new negative water/lava sculpts.

I really want both, but if I have to choose I'd prefer new water/lava tiles.

I agree with the assault on realism. It is not needed at all. I do want more cool pieces where the lava is not flat, but rising up off the floor and onto the walls.

I still want to see the water tiles in clear and more clear cavern bits! I can use those to make some pretty awesome water/ice/lava stuff with the right paints I bet. I can also back light them if I so desire! I do partially agree with the sentiment expressed by Oldent, but I feel like it would be sufficiently addressed for me by simply providing a small pack of bits specifically for lava flows (perhaps a "lava theme wicked additions"?).

Lava does not even flow like lava. By that I mean there are many kinds of lava and each kind flows different. See news over the last few weeks for the different kinds. The weirdest one to me is the one that looks like living asphalt coming after you.

I mean, if we're doing realism all of us are laying dead in those lava caves from the concentrated sulfur dioxide atmosphere, even before we're cooked to a bacony crisp inside our armor by those lava floes from a distance of 20 feet.

So screw realism.

As long as it doesn’t cool down it will continue to flow, which in my lava caverns it does easily... ‘cause it’s... well, pretty hot.

Lava does not flow like water. I do not think you can paint water tiles to look like lava. :!:

How about a lava kickstarter? Lava and ruins
There are many things that are realistic that we abandon when gaming... I am fine with lava flowing like water.

I really like the current lava sets that DF has done and I hope they continue and expand upon them in KS6.
