I’m ashamed to say I already loaded up on a ridiculous number of terrain trays during the main Kickstarter. So my new pledge was uncharacteristically restrained. I ordered the mega pack for the new overlays and one measly 12x12 cavern pools terrain tray.

Maybe this is like allowing kids to drink as much as they want, so they get sick and never have the urge to get drunk again?

I'm a dwarven forge addict, and I have been sober... I mean, I didn't get anything for the last two days, since adding paints to my caverns pledge...
Two days is not bad.

An Acid moat!
you lot are warped.

Ok we grant you its a decent shout
and yeah ok it would look amazing

But we do not have any acid terrain trays, so clearly its a dumb idea.

is the PM still open?

I feel like I'm in a confessional ...
At the end of the KS I was eyeing up so many of the adventure packs, but resisted! I did however cave (had to say it) for the Epic Elements crystal cavern pieces ... Im a sucker for those big 4x4 and 4x2 chunks ... especially with cool crystal that can be moved around ... A handful of nice big parts to spruce up a cavern.

Final thought, Mr Rabbit - Im with Dice, a castle isn't a DF castle unless it has an acid moat :D

The marble stuff is awesome - but that's not helping .... sorry.

So we did not look at what we ordered when the PM reopened as we could not change it, we only looked at what terrain trays we ordered and then ordered a shed load more that we did not intend to get as we got a load of water ones from DoD.

So now we can have a running moat and a frozen one !

I'm so bummed I didn't think to get any of the marble stuff. After seeing some of the builds people are making, I'm jealous! and diagonal walls. I should have gotten a pack of those!

Guilt, what guilt. I banished that word from my lexicon wrt to DF a long time ago. I am just using funds raised from selling off surplus minis (at least i keep telling myself that...) If I were to never use the stuff, then I might begin to feel some pangs of guilt, but until that happens....carefree and guilt free for now. I went in pretty hard on the forest stuff since that opened up a whole new type of 3d terrain for gaming.

Even for those who pait DF some sets are well worth getting painted. I am glad I splurged on the Marble Emperor set for the last KS. It is very nice. But was pricey.
I panicked at the end of the DoD Kickstarter. My pledge had somehow crept from 400 to several thousand and so I canceled my pledge entirely to protect me from myself (would have been wayyy too much to spend at that time!)

If I had it to do over, though, I would have stayed in for a Marble Emperor's set. Once the restock comes in, I'm gonna be getting my first unpainted sets in order to try and recreate it!
