Sabelle's insanity with Dreadhollow and spreadsheets

So I had to see what the painted forest sets I am getting was capable of. This 4' x 6' build in excel counts my pieces as I place them. I had started this months ago, but finished it up last night, and realized that I needed 10 more forest bank packs! It looks like a Zelda map! lol.
The "Legend" for this map is:
Dark Green: Forest Terrain Tray
Blue: Water Terrain Tray
Light brown with white: Escarpment pieces.
Green with 2 squares: Medium cover
Green with 3 squares: Heavy Cover
Small brown squares: Tree bases (Letters indicate either a full tree or a stump)
Green with large brown square: Spirit Tree
Green with with white angles: Forest banks. These are a vague approximation of the size and shape since I was using excel of all programs!
Number totals are on the left side of the column of text on the side of the image.

OMG. That is going to look awesome. Just needs a row boat to get to the other side?

I did get a few of boats too. But I think the PC's will have to swim... don't worry, it's safe. Trust me! ;)

Zelda music is now playing in my head any time I look at the map.

I want to see your storage solution for all of your sets, Michelle. :)

Well now the 8/16 bit versions will be stuck in my head all day long :D

I actually used excel for a forest layout too. But that was back in August, and also only to compare one encounter size vs two. Nothing compared to this epic scale. Can't wait to see pics! And my excel version also had no piece count automation. That's impressive too!

Clear plastic bins (copious amounts), heavy duty metal shelving (walls and rows), 1 entire room of my house, plus built in cabinets in the game room.

Nice!

I love how you did that in a spreadsheet!

I have a much simpler version... but i have to count items myself. My pledge is smaller though... i dont think i have more than 10 of any one forest piece.

Anyway, thanks for sharing!

I will be revamping my sheet now!

First let me just say "I told you you needed more banks!" - it is frightening that a pledge that large could be lacking, but the banks go quickly

Second - swim, forget about it - if you play pathfinder, with a running start you can jump the grand canyon ;) - i always hate that about water/lava builds

Looks like an awesome layout - i look forward to seeing it actually built!
