Encounters 1,3,and 5. Look great painted from the factory. The paint is well done and consistent from piece to piece. I would post a few pics but I can’t figure out how in this forum. Check out my post in the Dwarven Forge Fans/Mods/Tips/Tricks FB page.

I really hope the underdoom pictures are not representative of what is coming. The purple muppet show is a big no and needs to be fixed!!!

Also - apologies if this was addressed and I missed it, playing catch-up here - how is it that Underdoom shipped already? I thought it was just Encounters 1-6?

Does anyone have any standard-painted Caverns Deep to show off? I’d like some nice pictures to drool over.

@DF, have you sent Law some stuff yet? As a public service to the rest of us, Law should always be at the top of your KS shipping lists! :)

HAHAHHAHAHA, I was going to quote you just to point out that the unboxing videos show off the factory paint - but I really like how you closed out your post! I AGREE! :D

As for the paint issues - I think people are worrying a bit too soon. The Underdoom paint does look bright - though I agree that it’s subjective and some people might like it this way - but there’s no reason to think the factory messed up the basic caverns. The videos show them and they looked like what we expected.

Of course, I’m a little antsy about Dreadhollow too. That’s by far the most demanding paint job DF has ever requested. All those leaves and twigs on the forest floor!!!

Glitter is a bit like Tribbles: once you have them on a ship, you will never get rid of them again.

Indeed. You can get away with that if it is glitter.
