I did not get get any of my Ice Starter set in this shipment. So I think they are just shipping what they can to spread it out. I almost want to think It may have something to do with weight and what they can fit in one box. I don't blame them if they know there are going to be more things shipped to someone they why spend the money on a 2ed box just to put in 2 more things.

I am sure these partial shipments will cost DF a ton of money. Why not just admit they are really late and ship it all at once? I know it is nice getting something, but it is still a ton of money for DF to drop.

I can't say for sure, but to my understanding they work with a warehouse and they don't own the whole space. This is part of the balancing act they have with the webstore... they need to make sure they have sets in stock that move fast because it costs them money to have the sets sit in the warehouse. It is probably cheaper for them to send the sets they have now from the kickstarter then wait until they have everything.

They have admitted multiple times they are behind on shipping. They've also stated they're doing what they can to get product to customers ASAP. Whatever the cost it's one they've determined they can accept.

1: They want to get what product they can into our hands, so we have something to play with.

2: They have realized that many of their backers have spouses that will not be happy when a refrigerator sized shipment shows up of more Dwarvenite, so DF is helping keep the secrete by making the shipments smaller.

Ugh, this is worrisome to me. I'm not signed up for that UPS service, I was expecting an email from DF. I have them shipping to my new address but my wife and I won't be there til next week.
