I have a bunch of KS2 that I self-painted (and some of it still unpainted) that I have been holding on messing with further until my full batch of KS6 comes in so that I can do some matching. I currently have cardboard brown, dungeon grey and stone edge dry brush from the pokorny paint lines. Any other DF paints I should pick up to get a good color match with KS6? Would definitely prefer to use the pokorny paints for this due to the price/volume.
This was the “standard caverns” paint list that DF posted when they added their new paints to the KS6 pledge manager:

Cavern Dry Brush
School Bus
Terracotta Dry Brush
Earth Stone
Moss Green
Shallow Water Seaweed Green
Bubble Blue
Black

KS2, KS6, Resin. All are close enough. You'll drive yourself crazy by splitting hairs too finely.
I agree.

I do get a lot of pleasure painting so I try to match my resin.

Can someone post a pic of painted caverns next to the painted erinthor mountains floor tiles? I'm wondering how the banks will work with erinthor.

Also, if anyone happens to have any unpainted erinthor, I wonder how different the base unpainted colors compare between unpainted erinthor and unpainted caverns.

The olive dry brush is the only color that I have used a whole bottle.I also like the cavern dry brush as a highlight.

I need a light dry brush of olive dry brush on some of the texture. The base is close enough for me.

This has been mentioned several times, a yellow with olive dry brush,I paint on a palate so I will experiment.

I try to paint my pieces to match my other pieces and I am not always successful. I am not sure what I think of the paint job on the normal caverns. Alone it looks great. Next to other pieces, matters less to me though I know matching is important.

So... is part of the difference because of a different texturing from ks2 to ks6?
No, it's a different paint color. It's more "Earth Stone-ish" than "Caverns Dry Brush."
I forgot to say thanks for posting the photos :!:
